Kirlian photography

What is Kirlian photography then? Technically speaking, Kirlian photography is the print on film black and white or colour or still directly on photographic paper black and white, of the "corona pattern" provoked by a high voltage discharge induced in the subject through a suitable isolated printer board plate.

At present, it is known that all the live organisms have electric fields and, consequently, electromagnetic fields of a very complex nature. All biological processes correspond to reciprocal electromagnetic fields.

If the subject's bioenergetics field was altered, the corona pattern manifested in the photograph reflects alteration of the corona pattern. Thus, in photographing that pattern in plants or in the human being, any existent alteration can be verified in its bioenergic's field.

In the human being, photographing the corona pattern of the hands fingers and feet toes at level of the respective terminal acupuncture points can also reveal bioenergetics alteration.

That it is that actually makes at the Kirlian photography level with view to the diagnosis of diseases that further on will explain.

But we return to a dozen of years ago: We learned for first time about Kirlian photography when we were still in Angola, through a great friend that, like us, was a telecommunications technician. We had some common interests. Of us were radio ham (amateurs), we had submarine hunts and, inclusively, we built electronic apparatus for listening to the first artificial American satellites like Echo I. As a moment we kept the, a magnetic tape with the recording of the signs emitted by its travel on the of Angola's sky.

Sadly my friend no longer dwells in the world of the living because he was barbarically and treasonably killed apparently without a reason that didn't involve racial revenge.

Our friend had many international contacts also interested in Kirlian photography built a Tesla generator (Tesla coil) for experiments. We requested of him the electronic diagrams and we also built an identical generator is still intact.

Unfortunately at that time and in Africa, we didn't have the necessary technical information that allowed evaluating us the captured images and assessing the diagnoses that are possible today, but did have many very interesting experiences.

For those that don't know what a Tesla generator is we will say that it is comprises of a high voltage transformer of 1000 V or more, one primary coil with about 10 turns of isolated thick copper wire, another secondary winding larger than the primary with thousands of coils of very thin enamelled wire, a 0.001uf mica capacitor isolated to 5000 V, a spark gap and an exposure plate to hold the film.

The intensity of the corona is in direct relationship with the applied voltage and the quality and thickness of the dielectric used in the plate.

In the image below you can see the generator built by us that is more than 30 years and with it made the first Kirlian photographs that we will show you.

Tesla coil

A lot of people confuse the "corona" pattern the "aura" just as it is referred by many mystic authors and even in a more scientific way for Dr. Walter J. Kilner, in his book The Human Aura, The Citadel Press, Secaucus, New Jersey, USA.

The Kirlian photography, as we said, it is generated by a high voltage discharge at low current of a few microamperes. The Tesla generator that is shown in the image generates about 100.000 Volts

To take Kirlian photograph the operator and the subject have to be in a dark room lit up by a red light adapted for not exposing the photographic film that, in this case, it should be ortochromatic type this is, not sensitive to red light.

The film is placed on the exposure plate and under the subject to photograph. Connecting the generator with nothing on the print board plate reveals an enormous shower of thin sparks flow that leave the top of the coil for the centre, provoking a very accentuated ozone smell.

If you place a subject on the exposure plate like, for example, a tree leaf or the fingers of the hands, you will see a corona of blue sparks around it that will expose the film and after having exposed during the suitable time, will be developed immediately. Only after having fixed (after you develop a film you have to fix it with a chemical product called fixative) the film you can see it at white light otherwise it will be exposed too soon.

In the laboratory you should place everything easily within your reach such as the development, water and fixative containers because with a light red in the darkness the visibility is not the best. You should never remove more than one film sheet out of the box and close it immediately again, because if you forget to close it when you connect the white light you will expose all your photographic material. The less brilliant film side is usually the sensitive side and it should be turned upward.

After we expose and develop the film you can print it positive on photographic paper where what you sees on the film as black, in the paper will be white. This operation is not necessary for diagnosis purpose.
